Dental Experience

In the past few years, Atul Karkhanis Architects, Ltd. has completed numerous dental projects. These range from work for Private Universities Medical and Dental Programs, to professional practices, to non-profit organizations's medical and dental centers. Throughout each of these projects, AKA was determined to provide a safe, productive, and technologically advanced space to the end user. To achieve this task, AKA has partnered with established and respected Dental Equipment Suppliers such as Patterson Dental and Sullivan Schein on many of these projects. Dental buildouts require many different systems and elements to all work together to create the functional space. There are the dental chairs and cabinetry, Information Technologies, medical gases, vacuum systems, operatory lighting and swing arm systems (and their structural support), specialty power requirements, plumbing and mechanical needs, x-ray shielding analysis and implementation, finishes selection, security systems, and compressed air systems. AKA helps to coordinate all of these by working closely with our consultants and the contractors chosen to complete the work.
